BURNLEY have replaced Dale Benkenstein with his Natal team-mate Anthony Botha as their professional for the 1998 season.
The 20-year-old all-rounder comes recommended by Natal skipper Benkenstein and has broken into the province's A side this year.
A South African under-19 international, Botha bowls left-arm spin and bats in the middle order, although he has opened the batting for the B side and his national age group.
Burnley finished third from bottom of the EW Cartons Lancashire League last season when Benkenstein struggled with injury which reduced his impact with the ball.
