Squires Gate 1 Garswood United 1 GARSWOOD recovered from the shock of conceding a fourth-minute goal to earn a share of the spoils.
They were behind for only five minutes before Barry Edwardson broke down the right and crossed for Simon Corns to fire home from 12 yards.
Garswood continued to create chances but failed to accept them.
Man of the match was Ian Leather.
This Saturday United entertain Waterloo Dock in the fifth round of the LCFA Challenge Cup (2pm).
Meanwhile, Garswood Ladies, who defeated Arnold Town last weekend have a home fixture with Huddersfield Town on Sunday (2pm).
