A BAND formed in Preston is set for a homecoming after going down a storm on tour in America with top rockers Oasis.
Cornershop, who are touted to go all the way to the top by many in the record industry, play the University of Central Lancashire on February 27.
It will be a welcome return for the indie group fronted by Tjinder Singh and Ben Ayres who met while students at the uni in 1992.
A university entertainments spokesman said: "Cornershop are coming back home and should go down a storm. We're expecting a definite sell-out."
The set list looks likely to include the recent hit single Brimful of Asha. To book your tickets call 513200.
