THERESA the TV turkey didn't give a stuff when she went roam alone on the Lancashire Moors.
It had been feared that Theresa, who starred in Coronation Street over Christmas, would never be seen again after owner Kevin Horkin found his famous bird had flown the nest at her Oswaldtwistle home.
Mr Horkin and friends spent most of last week searching for the bird - who met an untimely end on Coronation Street during the festive period - and were beginning to fear the worst.... fowl play was suspected.
Mr Horkin, who runs Petcentric on Church Street, Accrington, said a telephone call led them to Theresa.
"She has become a local celebrity after appearing on Coronation Street. In that role she died and we feared the same thing was going to happen in real life," said Mr Horkin. "We have now started giving her the best food to help her regain her strength."
