CRICKETER turned model Justin Manville is bowling a new maiden over... Hollyoaks stunner actress Davinia Murphy.
Justin's dad David has revealed that his son, a former Yorkshire cricketer, is holidaying in Switzerland with Davinia, who split from Manchester United ace Ryan Giggs last year.
Former professional footballer and cricketer Mr Manville, of Langber Farm, Thornton-in-Craven, near Earby, said: "It is well known that Davinia has a liking for sportsmen. I bet she doesn't even realise that Justin is a first class cricketer."
He added that Davinia, 21, was angry about newspaper reports claiming she was secretly dating Ryan Giggs.
He said: "She was so angry about that because it simply isn't true. She is seeing Justin."
"The romance has been going about four to five weeks.
"It was a blind date. They hit it off straight away. They have so much in common."
The 20-year-old Pendle hunk, who started his modelling career with BOSS agency in Manchester, has actually made spot appearances in various soaps including the hit Channel 4 TV soap alongside Davinia, who plays Judy Cunningham.
Justin used to be bass player in the Oasis-style band Red Lane and aims to launch a solo musical career.
Most of Justin's family have been touched with fame of some kind. His brother Damian is in the local band Syndicate, and actress cousin Lesley Manville has appeared in TV series including Emmerdale and Soldier Soldier.
Justin was unavailable for comment today, and the Hollyoaks press office said: "We are not in a position to comment on Davinia's personal life."
