COUNCIL sentries were put on round-the-clock duty in a Blackburn park after the second arms discovery within three days.
A schoolboy sparked a major security alert when he found a live hand grenade in Corporation Park and took it home.
Blackburn Council leisure chief Eddie Runswick said: "This find underlines the importance of people staying away from this site."
