A MYSTERY buyer paid around £1million for a former cotton mill in Darwen.
It was believed that the new owner of India Mills was an East Lancashire-based firm which intended to use the site for manufacturing. Former owners Coats Viyella were remaining tight-lipped about the purchaser.
The mill had been up for sale for more than a year following its closure.
