I RECENTLY wrote, expressing my concern about the threatened closure of Shadsworth Leisure Centre in Blackburn. Now, I have heard that the closure is imminent.
Are the views of the public of Blackburn taken into consideration or will they discover the closure when it is too late?
Surely, a town as large as Blackburn can afford to run one leisure centre.
There is certainly the demand for one, as is proved by the number of people who use the centre each evening.
The car parks are overflowing and the classes there are extremely well attended.
