I FIND N Caton's comment (Letters, February 25) that the majority of the country supports the proposed ban on hunting rather difficult to believe.
The pro-hunting supporters have, with little difficulty, organised two major rallies in London, the second last Sunday with a turn-out of 200,000 and a series of beacons the length of the country.
It would be interesting to see how many people the anti-hunt lobby could get to turn out. I doubt no more than 10,000.
But what next if hunting is banned - fishing, motorsport, keeping caged birds? You may laugh. Remember - no beef on the bone.
