JASON DONOHUE is staying with Leigh - at least for another month.
Chairman Mick Higgins has tied up a deal with the scrum-half's club, Hull, to extend the loan period.
Donohue has made a big impact with his hometown club since his move from the Boulevard, even though he missed Leigh's last victory over one-time Division One leaders Hull KR. A shoulder injury kept him out of that game.
Meanwhile, Leigh will make moves this week to extend the loan periods of forwards Dave Whittle and Andy Grundy, both of whom have made a massive impact since their arrival from Wigan.
This week will be a real test of Leigh's mettle with games against two sides from the top five.
After the side's midweek visit to Whitehaven they face Hunslet at Hilton Park on Sunday.
Centre Andy Fairclough is expected to start his comeback this weekend after missing six games with shin splints. He is pencilled in for an Alliance run out at Batley on Saturday.
