WELL we're well and truly over another bank holiday weekend - they never seem to stop do they. But don't worry, there's no more now until a week on Monday - blimey! As you may know, I got the chance to play football at Anfield last week with the 1966 World Cup squad, well some of them any way. 1966 was well before my day but it was still an absolute privilege to be mingling with such legends. Anfield's pitch is in unbelievable condition - it's like a bowling green, and you can get your very own piece of Anfield when we take it up on Saturday 9 and Sunday May 10. It's £10 per square foot and all proceeds will go to Give A Child A Chance. Onward and upward - here comes this week's music review.
The Corrs - Dreams
The Corrs are one of Ireland's finest bands and made up of three sisters, Caroline, Sharon and Andrea and also brother Jim. Their current album is 'Talk On Corners' and didn't originally include this single. But after a live performance at the Albert Hall on St Patrick's Day, they actually re-made the album and included this single due to popular demand. It's a cover of the old Fleetwood Mac hit which reached number 24 in 1997 - but they've added quite a trendy dance feel.
Hinda Hicks - You Think You Own Me
You may remember this young girl from London as her debut single 'If You Want Me' was in the charts just a few weeks ago. Already she's hitting back with a new single which is actually quite similar to the old one but still very catchy. Almost definitely Top 30 material, especially with the publicity from her current tour with 911.
Mariah Carey - My All
The new single is another slowie but does include a David Morales dance mix which is cool. Don't miss the breakfast gamble as you could get the chance to meet Mariah Carey in London. TIME for this week's album give-away. We're giving away three copies of the new Ultra Nate album called Situation : Critical and features additional limited edition mixes. Well worth a listen right through - it's a great album from beginning to end.
