YOUNGSTERS are going all out to clinch a place in the borough's team for the Merseyside Youth Games.
The Games take place at Kirkby Sports Centre next month.
And qualifying competitions are already taking place across town.
Yesterday (Wednesday) a kwik-cricket competition was being staged at Ruskin Drive.
And on Tuesday, May 19, the St Helens Athletics Championships take place at Sutton High.
Thursday, May 22 sees a New Image Rugby tournament at Ruskin Drive.
While on Saturday, May 30, St Helens' first judo championships for secondary schools are held at Selwyn Jones, Newton.
It's back to Sutton High on Friday, June 12 for a short tennis competition.
