A FORMER Leigh Girls' Grammar School student, now living in the United States, organised her holiday back home to coincide with the old girls' annual reunion...for the second time.
Vivien Davies (nee Jones), who lives in Darien, Connecticut, was last over for the 1990 get together.
Vivien, a pupil in the 50s, along with many old girls and staff, decided it was time to catch up on the news and met up with former head of maths, 80-years-old Miss Dorothy Bannister, herself a former pupil from 1932-36, and organiser, and former science teacher Mrs Avis Freeman. at the annual re-union in the Formby Hall, Atherton.
