A £14 million investment to gear up East Lancashire for production of the Eurofighter was unveiled today.
The multi-million investment is equipping British Aerospace's Samlesbury plant with the latest high-tech tooling facilities .
The new centre, to make tools for the thousands of components needed, is part of an investment of more than £100 million at the site ready for full-scale production of the fighter which will safeguard thousands of East Lancashire jobs.
