LOUISE King has gone from jobless mum to being on target to hit a £1 million turnover.
And computer company boss Louise is hoping her new headquarters will help her business continue its rapid growth.
Louise, 32, founded BSD Group in 1992 to help firms with information technology systems and training.
She had previously worked for Rolls-Royce as a business systems analyst before leaving to start a family. Louise then went on the business start-up Firmbase scheme run by Burnley Enterprise Trust before setting up the firm.
Neil Hudspith, managing director of software firm Lotus Development, officially opened BSD's new base in Daisyfield Business Centre in Blackburn.
"It was a great honour to get the managing director of one of the country's most influential IT industries to Blackburn," said Louise, who decided to set up her own business after the birth of her first child.
Following the opening ceremony, Mr Hudspith chaired a debate on how technology and the Internet were giving business a competitive advantage over their rivals.
