A TODDLER who inhaled smoke after setting fire to his bedroom is doing "very, very well" in hospital and could be back on a ward soon.
Joshua Petrie, three, was treated in the intensive care unit of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Pendlebury, at first, but today staff said he had been moved to the high dependency unit and could be transferred to a ward.
He set fire to his bed at his home in Mizpah Street, Burnley, on Tuesday while his mum Joanne and 18-month-old sister Shona were downstairs.
Joanne rushed upstairs and rescued him from the smoke filled room.
