EMPLOYEES have bowled over charity workers with a £1,000 donation.
Staff from the fabrications department at British Aerospace at Samlesbury raised the cash with a series of events including a bowling evening.
The money was presented to the Derian House Children's Hospital.
"Since the hospice is almost totally reliant on voluntary funding, support like this is greatly needed and appreciated. We will be using the donation to help re-decorate bedrooms and buy specialised equipment," said Trevor Briggs, general manager at Derian House.
