WORRIED mums were enforcing a Friday 13th lock-up - to save their youngsters from a "jinxed" tree!

Seven-year-old Joanne Wechala and Nicola Sherry, 11, both broke their right arms after falling off the same branch of the same tree on consecutive evenings. They were joined in hospital by Michael Jones, eight, who fell from the tree and needed stitches.

Mrs Catherine Wechala said: "It does seem that the tree is jinxed!"
