STUDENTS at Leyland's Runshaw College have been told to stop snogging in public during soaring summer temperatures.
Lovesick teenagers have been told they risk punishment if they are caught puckering up on the campus in Langdale Road, Leyland.
Princess Anne visits the college today (Thursday), and all students have been informed that kissing and canoodling will be unacceptable. College chiefs say snogging scholars embarrass other students, and is on a par with smoking outside specified zones and bullying.
College spokesman Jim Smith said: "A peck on the cheek or a cuddle will be overlooked. But when a kiss becomes a game of tonsil tennis we become concerned.
"Runshaw is a college which prides itself on its learning atmosphere."
