WHO needs the latest music, designer clubwear and flashing lights to find the partner of your dreams - try booking a Cinema seat in the Midnight Hour.
UCI Cinema's late-night Friday and Saturday movie is proving to have amazing pulling power.
The multiplex cinema, at Riversway, Preston, is attracting a huge crowd of party people looking for passion in the picture house.
According to cinema bosses the traditional place to go out on a date is fast becoming the place to find love.
House manager Stuart Bond said: "We have been running the Midnight Hour films ever since the site opened, and they are very popular.
"We try to show films which aren't too long and not too complicated because a lot of the people who come down are somewhat the worse for wear.
"Films on their first week of release tend to shown, such as Scream 2."
Hordes of students making their way from the university pubs and town centre bars have become a common sight, especially with a livelier atmosphere promised inside the auditorium.
And, although old-fashioned 'kissing in the back row' is the traditional cinema antic, some UCI branch bosses are going one step further and giving away free condoms before a film!
However, Stuart divulged: "On several occasions we have come across people in somewhat compromising situations in different parts of the complex, which I think speaks for itself!"
