ONCE again, the threat of sodium fluoride being added to water raises its head, despite the potential damage to health it may cause in the long term to the majority of the population.
Children's teeth may be subject to a more rapid rate of decay than adult teeth, but they are not reduced to rotting stumps overnight.
Responsible parents will, I am sure, have taken their children to the dentist long before their child's teeth arrive at this state. It's funny, but, as far as I can determine, no dentist or doctor has ever prescribed sodium fluoride tablets for children. I am sure someone will prove me wrong.
If Tony Blair can tell me anywhere in the world where sodium fluoride occurs as a natural substance I will personally make a donation to his party funds.
Calcium fluoride, however, is a natural occurring substance, so maybe if this was being added instead of sodium fluoride the public would be a lot happier.
