A FEW weeks ago, Hyndburn Council leader Councillor George Slynn (Letters, April 14) made mention about an injection of truth.
Now that the electorate has spoken, with the Conservatives taking nine seats from Labour in Hyndburn, I wonder how he is enjoying one, as the realisation sinks in that his turn comes next year?
The bigger they are, the harder they fall, so perhaps it might be an idea for him to reconsider his position?
