A NEW package of free business support services has been unveiled to help East Lancashire firms become more productive and profitable.
The services are aimed at manufacturing firms who could benefit from making use of up to date information technology and business systems.
"These might range from production and stock control to accounting and historical sales analysis," said David Taylor, chief executive of Enterprises plc.
The company is offering the services with financial support from local authorities and European funding.
"Where necessary we can provide assistance on marketing and business planning and we can also help guide companies through the Year 2000 problem."
The free service is available from Blackburn, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle and certain parts of the Ribble Valley.
Further information is available from Grant Seedhouse on 01772 203020.
