FIRMS in East Lancashire are being offered free help to prepare for the worst.
Experts believe companies need to do more to prepare for the unexpected, ranging from a bomb damage to power cuts, fire and theft.
A seminar being held by Business Link Hyndburn is aimed at helping small firms find out about the latest systems to protect their equipment.
"Although many businesses may feel they have adequate back-up systems in place, it is important to keep up to date with developments," said Business Link Hyndburn's Martin Smith. "The seminar will also explain the quickest routes to getting the systems back up and running." Further details on the event, being held at the Globe Centre, Accrington, on June 16, are available from 01254 600686.
