A THIEF climbed into the back garden of a house and stole a pair of Adidas tracksuit bottoms from a washing line.

The offender, aged 13-15, had short dark hair and wore a blue Adidas jacket. He escaped from St James' Gardens in Leyland on an old mountain bike.

A thief stole a radio from a Volkswagon Golf parked on a car park in Miller Road, Preston, at around 6.30pm on Monday May 11.

The culprit was chased before dumping the radio and running off. He was in his early twenties, slightly tanned with short dark hair and clean shaven. He wore a maroon bomber jacket and blue jeans. It is believed he got in a blue or grey old Citroen van parked nearby.

Around 7.30pm on May 6, a man was struck with an iron bar in Larkhill Road, Preston, after answering a knock at his door. The attacker was 5ft 10ins tall, thin, with straight black hair, wearing a bomber type jacket and blue tracksuit bottoms.

Callous thieves broke in to a butcher's shop in Stanifield Lane, Leyland, and stole two charity boxes.

Two men were seen acting suspiciously just after midnight on the night it happened, May 12-13.
