THE Lions return to Gigg Lane on Sunday (May 31) for their first home game in a month - and what a game!
They welcome table-toppers Wakefield Trinity for a crunch clash which is sure to attract a bumper crowd.
The pitch at Gigg, which was in awful shape at the end of the football season, has had a few weeks to begin its recovery and is looking much greener.
The Lions have a point to prove on Sunday after narrowly losing 18-13 at Belle Vue in March. The crucial try was scored while Swinton were controversially down to 12 men.
Club chief Tony Barrow says: "We felt a bit aggrieved after that defeat. We have the opportunity to put the record straight now."
The Lions recorded a 20-16 win at Hunslet on Sunday and have their eyes firmly fixed on a top five finish.
Kick-off is 3pm.
