REDUNDANCY-threatened Lucas workers in Burnley appealed to cash-rich Lancashire Enterprises Ltd to help save their jobs.
The workers wanted the county council's work creation agency to buy a factory to slash crippling costs at two Burnley aerospace centres.
An all-out campaign to save the works was agreed by 600 workers at a mass meeting.
