A YOUNG boy suffered burns after he set fire to his pyjamas with a hand-held butane gas cooker igniter.
Andrew Kettlewell, aged five, of Whinfield Place, Ashton, ran upstairs to his mother with his clothes alight.
His quick-thinking mum held him under the shower to douse the flames before calling the fire brigade.
He was rushed to the Royal Preston Hospital on Wednesday, where he is described as "comfortable and stable."
