IF it's fun you are after then head into Radcliffe tomorrow (June 6).
The town's traders' association is taking over The Piazza from 10am and there will be face-painting, balloon modelling, children's fun rides, stilt walkers and jugglers.
Over at Red Bank Playing Fields at the same time a car boot sale will herald the start of the 33rd Radcliffe Carnival.
The excitement really begins at 11am when Silcocks Fair opens and at 1pm the parade of floats will begin assembling at land off Unsworth Street where the judging will take place between 1pm and 1.30pm.
The procession sets off at 2pm along Lowe Street, Ainsworth Road, Water Street, Pilkington Way, Sion Street, Deansgate, Church Street, Rectory Lane, Spring Lane, Water Street and Unsworth Street.
All these roads will be closed to traffic from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Police are advising all out-of town shoppers travelling by car to leave by 1pm, before the restrictions start, to avoid getting held up by the parade.
Bands taking part in the parade so far are Radcliffe and Prestwich Band and Tottington Band.
Other highlights include an Army display from 2.30pm, the Carnival Queens' ceremony which begins at 4pm and morris dancing, majorettes, exhibitions and sideshows.
Bus services will not be operating through the town centre between 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
