GOLBORNE villagers rallied to help leukaemia victim Steven Culshaw who is this month depending on his brother, David, for the gift of life.
Steven, 18, of Golborne Road, Lowton, is to have a bone marrow transplant from his younger brother at the Christie Institute.
When the family learned he had the blood disease on New Years Eve, his aunt Mrs Norma Campbell, of Derby Road, Golborne, started a fund raising campaign which raised £1.430 for the hospital.
Pictured with the cheque are Steven and his aunt Norma and back, mum and dad, Jean and Robert, who wish to thank everyone for their support.PACL781/26
