STUDENT Helen Pennington is all set to follow in the famous footsteps of the Spice Girls and Gary Lineker - by having her face splashed across millions of packets of Walkers Crisps!
The 19-year-old from Rainford who is currently in the second year of a physiotherapy degree at Manchester University, landed her starring role after winning a regional competition to come up with a slogan for the popular crisps.
Her slogan - 'There's No Taste Like Walkers . . . Because This Taste of Heaven Doesn't Cost The Earth' - was chosen as the winner from among hundreds of entries.
Helen has already seen a 30ft version of the new advert, complete with her face, laser-beamed onto St George's Hall in Liverpool, where her win was announced. And now she will be featured on all Walkers Crisps packets in July and August.
