IF you've always been interested in magic, but don't don't know your abracadabras from your izzy whizzies, then the Day of Magic could be the thing for you.
Organised by the St Helens-based American Magic Company, the event was established two years ago and this year, will take place at Birchley St Mary's Club in Billinge on Sunday, June 14, between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
The American Magic Company is run by David Illidge, from his home in Rutherford Road, Windle. In addition to being a professional magician, David also works as a children's entertainer and, along with other traders, will be on hand throughout the day to demonstrate the latest new tricks and equipment.
Fans will also be treated to a lecture by American magician Terry Luncerford, who performs regular shows at Caesar's Palace venue in Las Vegas, who will be demonstrating a few tricks of his trade.
IF you would like a copy of David's catalogue of magic, you can contact him on St Helens 759653 or via the Internet on http://www.magicco.u-net.com
