A GROUP of bosses are setting the standard for colleagues across East Lancashire.
A total of 17 managers and directors have just achieved level five NVQs in management through a link between ELTEC and the University of Oxford.
"In order to create local jobs and prosperity, East Lancashire businesses and their managers need to achieve world class standards," said ELTEC chief executive Mark Price.
"We hope many more local managers will be inspired by their foresight and determination to develop the very best leadership and entrepreneurial talents."
The managers are the first to have taken part in the course through the University of Oxford Delegacy of Local Examinations Centre.
