AS an ex-Englishman, I am a collector of British Army cap badges and wonder if readers can supply information on one which was among some I bought recently.
It is metal, brown in colour, with the King's crown, three royal lions in the centre and a Lancashire rose between the words 'Lancashire Volunteers, Wigan Corps.'
I would like to know if the badge is a military or civilian one and would be grateful for any history concerning it.
