A MAJOR conference to help firms save money by going green is being staged next week.
The "Putting Waste to Work" event aims to help companies cut costs, become more competitive and keep within the law by reducing waste.
A series of seminars and workshops will be held as part of the conference covering areas such as water use, solvents and using green products in the office.
The conference is being staged at the Northern Technologies Agora conference centre in Nelson on June 16 and 17 and is organised by the Business Environment Association and the Borough of Pendle. Further details are available from Jo Turner and Mick Smith on 01254 676747.
