IT'S back! After a year's absence the Griffin Grind five-mile fun run is under starter's orders again.
Now in its 14th year, this year's event takes place on Friday, July 3 (7.30). And it follows the usual course, starting and finishing close to the Griffin Inn, Eccleston.
Thanks to sponsorship from Laughton and Wallace, there are medals for all finishers, trophies and prizes for each category, plus spot prizes, many sponsored by Golden Wonder.
Entry costs £2 for under 16s and £3 for adults. But prices will rise by a further £1 on the night.
Details and entry forms can be obtained from the race secretary on 01744 731035 or from the Griffin Inn, Eccleston.
All money raised goes to the 23rd St Helens Scout Group.
