A SEAFARER sailor was left grounded after someone stole his 16ft triple hull yacht from outside a house in Church Brow, Walton-le-Dale.
The boat, a Sea Hog Hunter named Black Pig, was wheeled away on a Snipe trailer some time between 2-8.30am on May 22. The pair were worth more than £1500.
Thieves struck when a motorist left his car unattended as he opened gates in Market Street West, Preston.
The opportunists, two 15-year-old youths, made off with a handbag containing cash and personal items. They were both white, slim, clean shaven and about 5ft 6ins tall. One was wearing a red jacket and jeans, his accomplice wore a dark jacket and had light mousey blond hair.
Balshaws High School in Church Road, Leyland, was targeted by vandals who smashed windows at the back of the science labs.
The group, two boys and two two girls, were seen hanging around at the time of the attack, around 8.40pm on May 21.
One of the boys was wearing a bright yellow anorak and jeans, the other wore a dark blue track suit.
A young woman tricked her way into a house in Charlotte Street, Preston, and once inside stole a purse containing cash.
The woman who struck on May 29 at around 10.30pm, was aged about 20. She was 5ft tall with long black hair and wore a yellow top, blue jeans and blue sandals.
A burglar was disturbed by the occupier when he tried to break in to a ground floor flat in Latham Street, Preston.
The man, in his mid-thirties, had short dark hair and wore a beige jumper, blue jeans and grey woollen gloves.
