THE 10-strong darts team at the Hindley Ellesmere has won the Burtonwood Brewery Richard Forshaw Memorial Rose Bowl.
They picked up £1,000 in prize money and will be spending a sporty night with World No 1 Phil Taylor.
After a final win against Farnworth Arms (Liverpool), Ellesmere licensee Frank Garvin said: "We are delighted to have won against such fierce competition."
THE trophies have been handed out after a superb season in the Leigh Open Pool League.
Sportsman A were league and Pairs League winners; Bridge Inn were league runners-up.
Knockout winners were Harrow Inn (Team), V Jones of Sportsman A (Individual), R McNiece and M Herrera of Bridge Inn (Pairs) and Sportsman A (3-man team).
Eight-ball clearances: P Langin, R McNiece, K Ogden, S Rimmer and D Peers.
