REGARDING Mr Blakes comments (LET June 3), he assumes people concerned for animal welfare are activists.
Human life will always supersede that of animals. No one will dispute the fact.
Mr Blake views his fellow man as inconsiderate to his own because of their conviction that animals matter in research.
The Nobel prizewinner Albert Einstein at the turn of this century in India tested his discovery of dynamite on a terrified struggling live adult elephant. Justifiable, deserving of a peace prize?
To care about what happens to animals in laboratories is relevant to myself and numerous people.
