SCHOOL term timetables could soon be standardised.
Education chiefs believe the current holiday pattern which differs in various parts of the borough may directly affect the quality of education and causes assessment problems and feedback to parents.
They are now proposing to adopt a common holiday pattern for the academic year 2000-01.
But before any changes are made extensive consultations will be made with schools, professional associations and trade unions. Then a Citizens' Jury could be brought in to deliberate.
