WITH reference to the story about Farleys solicitors taking on Blackburn with Darwen Council regarding the state of the tiled flooring in Blackburn Market Hall.
I am pleased that at last someone is confronting them with the problem.
I quickly discovered the dangerous state of the new floor the first time I walked on it.
I skidded twice and learned to walk very slowly and carefully from then on.
I have seen a few people fall and helped to pick up one old lady who had quite obviously injured herself.
As a result of this, I very rarely visit the top part of the market, where previously I used a number of stalls, and spend as little time as possible in the market itself.
The floor, by the way, is slippery when dry as well as wet.
