LANCASHIRE Lynx face another long trip tomorrow when they travel to Derwent Park to take on Workington in the Red Rose Trophy kick off 3pm.
This is the second time in a month that Lynx have had to travel to Workington, but they will hope to return with a victory which could see them top the league for the first time this season depending on Bramley's result at Batley.
With four successive away victories behind them, Lynx will be confident of victory.
Coach Steve Hampson is hoping to select the same squad as last week although full back Dave Murray is doubtful with a calf injury.
The squad will also be missing regulars Steve Taylor and Carl Birscoe who were both injured in the Oldham game. Steve Smith is serving a two-match ban whilst Lee Westwood has joined Leigh on loan. Jason Viller has been released by mutual consent after failing to win a place in the squad.
Workington are sure to provide stiffer opposition than before having recruited three ex-Carlisle players. The best known being full back Willie Richardson. A player Lynx will have to watch will be winger Richard Henare whilst Barry Williams will also prove to be a threat. So far they have won one of their opening two fixtures in the Red Rose Trophy. Last week they went down to a 27-10 home defeat against Oldham.
Lynx will line-up: Murray, Byrne, Ashcroft, Abram, Parsley, Phil Jones, Kelly, Prest, Donno, Pekepo, Gee, Solomon, Ruane. Subs (from): Fairhurst, Norton, Walsh, Mawdsley, Danny Jones.
