ENGINEERING students took centre stage at a presentation evening.
Students taking courses through training 2000 in Blackburn received awards at the organisation's annual presentation evening held at Mytton Fold.
Faisal Iqbal, a pupil at Queen's Park High school won the best overall student award for his GNVQ course.
Russell Dawson, who works for PolyGram in Blackburn, was presented with the Pendle Trophy for the best in-company training award.
And David Pickering won the Cobble Trophy for the best all round first year apprentice.
