POLICE launched a summer blitz on drink-drivers in Lancashire.
New figures showed that summer months were the worst for drink-related crashes.
Lancashire's head of traffic, Superintendent Jeff Meadows, said: "We are not taking a back seat in this matter. People who drink and drive will be brought to justice if they are over the limit."
