THEY were tapping their feet in Accrington town centre when Ossy Cloggers performed outside the market hall as part of a Weekend of Dance.
More than 80 musicians and clog, country and morris dancers entertained in the rain on Saturday.
Dancers included St Mary's Oswaldtwistle Clog and Country Dancers children's group, and adult team Clogology.
"Amazingly enough, even in the rain people still stopped to watch," said one of the organisers. "The dancers had a whale of a time. Rain doesn't bother clog dancers. If you are doing a weekend of dance, you dance."
The band played on at a barn dance attended by more than 100 people at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre, and competitions were held at Oswaldtwistle Mills on Sunday.
