PRIME Minister Tony Blair's call for bosses to sack World Cup soccer thugs may be an admission of the government's failure to stop louts going to France but it is a smart and positive response.
If these people drag our reputation through the mud overseas, they should be made to account for it.
Mr Blair pledges to sack convicted hooligans who work in the public sector.
Let the private sector follow suit. The crackdown on these monsters cannot be too hard.
