THE success of an East Lancashire company, which is the largest of it's kind in the world, looks set to continue with new headquarters, management team and logo.
E J Riley, which produces snooker equipment, will move from Padiham to a 60,000 sq ft purpose-built head office on the Network 65 Business Park, Burnley, after restructuring within parent company AW Hainsworth and Sons Ltd.
The new company, to be called Riley Leisure Ltd, incorporates Hazel Grove Superleague, Premier, Greenmaster and Toptable Casino Equipment as a worldwide leisure and gaming force.
And a new management team under chairman David Hainsworth and chief executive Ian McDougall have been appointed to take Riley Leisure towards the millennium with a new logo. Mr McDougall said: "Building on the company's unparalleled expertise in cue sports, Riley is now actively looking to develop the core business of cue sports alongside new areas of business within the leisure and gaming industries over the next five years.
"The original logo colours of red and green have been retained to reflect the strength of the company's current business base but it is much more future focused, reflecting our long term ambitions."
The new offices will house Riley's manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing operations, as well as an impressive new showroom.
The company, which employs 230 people, now has a turnover of almost £20 million.
