THOMAS the tank engine was put back on the right track by a Hyndburn firm. A 3ft 6ins Thomas face was mistakenly sent to Lancashire instead of Kent where it was urgently needed for children's entertainment. Workers at Shaw Packing Limited of Bridge Street, Church, carefully parcelled the huge face, designed for the front of a locomotive, and arranged a special delivery to Kent to get it there on time.
