A PUB syndicate from Bacup scooped a £51,251windfall after sticking to the same National Lottery numbers for four years.
Licensee Ritchie Hallinan's numbers came up and the drinks flowed at his pub, The Little Queen in Bacup town centre after the group scooped the prize for matching five numbers and the bonus ball.
Sharing the win with Ritchie are Clive Hinton, hairdresser Shirley Wingate, who runs Shir-als Crop Shop in Bankside Lane, Bacup, Brian Kelly, Tony Taylor and Shirley's husband, Alex.
Ritchie said: "We kept to the same numbers and its paid off."
The lucky numbers were 2, 10, 17, 20 and 27 and the bonus was 39.
