BUDDING young circus act Paul Barbarel joined in the fun at Moscow State Circus when he got a lesson from a professional juggler. Amateur juggler Paul, of Preston, was put through his paces by circus star Victor Pilipovitch at their Witton Park base in Blackburn.

Paul, 17, said: "I started learning to juggle when my dad bought me a book and now I'm up to five-ball juggling, which isn't bad for my age."

Ringmaster and general manager Chris Baltrop said: "The Moscow State Circus has a tradition of bringing on stars of the future and we were delighted to foster Paul's talent." The circus has been thrilling audiences with stunning stunts all week and is in town until Sunday.
